My Journey of Healing Long Covid
Dear Friend,
This marks the inaugural blog post on my website, and I am eager to share this story first because, without long covid, you likely wouldn't be reading this. Personally, it has been a profoundly transformative experience, touching every aspect of my life – physically, materially, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I aim to share my journey as accurately and holistically as possible to provide support and inspiration to as many individuals as I can.
Why? The challenges and circumstances I faced were tough, including constant headaches and a daily sub-febrile temperature. I navigated through very destructive and negative states, such as apathy and depression, and even grappled with suicidal thoughts. Rest assured, I am alive. Consciously living day by day, working on sustaining and improving my health, setting new goals, and being in motion. Nevertheless, currently also going through other life challenges that I will speak more about on podcasts and share on socials.
One of the goals is starting a blog with a mission and purpose to share my authentic experience, knowledge, and tools with everyone. I believe it will help you evolve and equip you with the tools to consciously and responsibly script your own lines of fate, inspiring you to live the best life you can.
How did it start?
I contracted covid-19 for the second time, around the 15th or 16th of December 2022. It was significantly milder compared to the first time, which occurred in November 2021. My symptoms included a body temperature of 37.5, a cough, and minor pharyngitis, all lasting for approximately 1.5 weeks. Initially, I dismissed it as nothing significant – the circumstances simply forced me to rest because I was immersed in establishing and consolidating a financial holding, overseeing a music promotion and marketing agency, and leading a deep-tech startup. Essentially, I was working tirelessly, putting in 12+ hours a day, seven days a week, unconsciously embracing the role of a young "hustler," doing everything I could to succeed.
By October, my immune system had already weakened, and I was falling ill regularly due to the stress my body was enduring, the unhealthy food I was consuming, and, if I recall correctly, even excessive alcohol intake to "release" emotions and blow off steam. To keep it brief, there were other contributing factors: 1. my relationships with other people – business partners, friends. 2. my involvement in different organizations 3. my way of living and moral compass, to name a few. I will explain and describe the causes and lessons in depth in a separate article – that will be the most beneficial and impactful part of this long covid story.
